Brodie is probably the most intelligent dog that I've ever owned. He understands what I say and will react accordingly. I have seldom had to scold him more than once for anything. He learns everything so easily!

Working Description: Brodie is not a working dog. He is a protector of his home, and spends much time outside at night on "guard". Brodie will try to get me to come check out anything he deems suspicious. He can be very persistent until I come with him. He is great at vermin control, digging out rodents and killing them. He loves people (especially children) and other dogs, but will alert to the entrance of anyone strange to his territory. He wants to be my constant companion everywhere I go.
