Working Description: Kendrick is a calm and serious worker.He's taken the lead role in guarding our property and does so very well. I believe with every confidence that should I need him to defend me against someone else he would have the keen insight and courage to do so. As soon as I let him know that a stranger is welcomed onto our property he assumes the stranger is there to pet him and walks along beside them with that anticipation. Kendrick chases away unwanted birds from the pastures and has killed larger sized rodents like opossum. His favorite thing to do is to catch a particular chicken or a loose meat rabbit for us without harm. We have a milk cow and when the calf is about 10-11 days old we separate the calf out at night. The calf catches on after a while and runs out to pasture when it's time to be separated. After showing Kendrick one time that we needed him to catch the calf for us he assisted us every night after that.
