Lark has been one of the easiest pups we have ever raised. She completed her Canine Good Citizen at 8 months of age. She will learn new instruction just from watching other dogs. Has shown a very willing and able talent for agility. Lark has proven herself as a reliable chore dog and show herding ability at a young age. She is cautiously friendly with everyone she meets and quickly warms up to very inquisitive. She is very biddable and eager to please. A very gentle and companionable girl with a very calm and peacemaking disposition.

Working Description: Lark is extremely responsive to her handler in the field. She is a very reliable dog, and though she is very calm and peaceful most of the time, she has very quick and efficient and decisive movement when it is time. She has a natural gatherer and is an intuitive help when moving sheep with an upright style. Lark has earned her HCT 1 and 2 (herd instinct test) as well. She is a helpful sky watcher, eradicates vermin, and helps to keep the chickens safe from predators. She naturally keeps animals where they need to be when they are attempt to leave pens, etc., and she alerts us to anything that is wrong or out of place. She is not a barker unless necessary and is a wonderful addition here!
