Very sweet demeanor and intelligent dog! When it's time to play, work or go on an adventure she's extremely alert and energetic, but in general is very calm and relaxed around home. She will alert to newcomers, but as soon as she gets the signal that someone is a friend, she's very affectionate--typically bringing guests to our home her favorite toy. Excellent with other dogs, children of all ages, and extremely gentle with baby chicks, kittens and ducklings. She loves learning new skills and has some beginner agility that we're continuing to build on. Very even-tempered and she's great at matching other dogs demeanors; assertive but never aggressive, easygoing but never submissive.
