clear of all disease mutations tested by Embark. Also CN clear, by parentage. DMS low risk haplotype aabbCc (rare)
Chickadee has a calm, friendly temperament. She makes friends easily with both people and other dogs. She loves children. She is gentle, intelligent and very intuitive. She is confident in new environments, biddable, and easy to train. She exemplifies OTSC versatility, doing well in obedience, nose work, agility, and herding. When not working, she is a devoted, calm family dog. Chickadee is clear of all genetic disease mutations tested by Embark. She has a very rare, genetically valuable DMS genotype which is related not only to reduced risk of DMS but also to overall resistance to a wide range of infectious and immune-mediated diseases.

Chickadee lives and works on a small farm with sheep, chickens, horses. At 12 months of age, she is already excellent at varmint control and has started helping with the sheep. She is a natural gatherer with a loose-eyed working style. See video link to see her first herding clinic at 12 months of age.
