Cheddar is smart and willing to please. He has a good call back and exhibits herding instinct. We have dogs, cats, chickens, goats, sheep and a cow and horse on our small hobby farm and he is good around all of the animals. He barks at strangers but is welcoming once he knows that they are welcome. He is a good look out for hawks and other flying birds. He is a great family dog and companion.
