Jewels is a wonderful girl. She is very loving and loyal and is always eager to please us. She is very good with our grandchildren and other animals and is very patient with them. She is very alert to anything that is going on around our 10 acres combined with our daughters 15 acres. She is always watching us and knows where we are at all time. Jewels loves when she gets to go to the coffee shop with her dad and to Atwoods or Tractor Supply. Everyone loves her there and can't believe how well behaved she is.

Working Description: Her main job is to help in the pasture during feeding time to keep the longhorns away and she helps to move them from pasture to pasture. She watches closely over the other animals including helping Cotton with the cats and is very alert to the hawks and owls that live in our trees. When her Doxy mama was still with us, she would bark loudly when they would fly over and she nevers barks unless she is concerned. At night she wants out and will go from corner to corner surrounding our house alerting to the coyotes to stay away. She really isn't interested in varmint control, leaving that job to Cotton but she will stop one if they get away from him, she just prefers to supervise. Jewels is also the enforcer among the other animals in the house and has a more serious side then Cotton. She will let us know when she feels they are miss behaving and will get on to them herself if she needs too.
