When Joe was young, as he grew taller and could reach my hand as it dangled, he would come next to my side get under my right hand and allow me to hold on to his fur and walk with me on our property---his initiation! (I have balance issues!) He is never far from me or the children---always going out with them to play! He is noble, sleeps on his back, rests when we rest, is easy in the house or out---at night he sleeps next to our inside or outside bedroom door ! Joe comes from the respected Grant kennels in OK. He is a wonderful representation of their great blood lines, their socialization, and care. Very early on, I called Cara Grant, and said, this dog reminds me of a majestic lion in his kingly attitude---just the way he holds himself as he lounges or sits! With his stately manner, we could have easily named him Winston! We are most fortunate to have Joe as part of our family. He is the alpha of his five member pac! Joe carries the white gene factor! Joe has fathered 45 pups todate!

Working Description: Joe Fox is our faithful companion. He guards the yard from squirrels and does have herding instincts, however, we've nothing for him to work! He is extremely friendly to known friends and family, and has a wonderful "be ware stay back" alarming bark to strangers--- yet not aggressive. He loves playing with the children, happily joining them on the trampoline---runs with the boys, sits with the quiet ones, and rests when the family rests. He is always near his family!
