Ziggy was Embark DNA Blind Tested. She came back as Collie (Scottish Type) 100%. And clear on all test components. Ziggy is very good with children, elderly, other dogs, and normally patient with the cat. Ziggy has been a great companion dog, going everywhere with us, and insists on meeting everyone. She has proven herself to be an alert watchdog around the home. Ziggy has strong hunting instincts. She is particularly good at targeting rabbits, deer and grasshoppers. Ziggy is our Security Manager. I have yet to bring her into contact with stock animals, but she has watched horses, sheep, goats, & cattle through fencing and has been very observant & eager to investigate closer. We now have chickens and ducks that Ziggy is learning about and accepting on the property. Ziggy lives with two male intact English Shepherds, Zak our stud - a Clear Sable & White that she has grown quite fond of and insists on being with. Zak shares Security Management with Ziggy. We also have Zuess, a Black & Tan that has found his place as the Farm and Property Manager. Ziggy loves the water, fetches and returns a bumper, and enjoys to kayak, swim and camp with us.
