Working Description: Blazer is a quiet and attentive companion. By 14 weeks, he learned to catch and hold an errant chicken on command until I said "drop it." After a couple of weeks, he was confident enough to catch the rooster when it got out. He was also watchful of the parameter of where I wanted the goats to stay and took the responsibility to herd them to their proper place. He is not an assertive dog. Instead, he will hang back when our other dogs are getting a treat or attention from me. But, when all the others have gone, he affectionately claims his time with me and accepts his treat. I love that about him.
