Working Description: Caledonia has been raised around chickens, turkeys, emus, miniature donkeys, horses, miniature cows, 2 other OTSC and a LGD. She keeps a constant eye on the farm and is great at protecting the poultry from hawks and hunting small prey : opossums, squirrels, and rabbits. Cali stands by us as we pasture-rotate our cows and donkeys, observing, ready to correct any wanderers. Cali has a sweet, calm nature and has received her AKC Canine Good Citizenship award. She is wonderful with all people and other dogs, showing great tenderness with children. We plan for her to enter therapy work with the elderly in the near future.
