Working Description: River is more of a home dog than farm dog. She does accompany me to the barn occasionally and when she does she is calm and helpful. She is fine with the barn cats she doesn't know, cautious around the horses and interested but not overly stimulated by the chickens and ducks. Her favorite part of the barn is being the meeter and greeter to the families. At the barn she is open to new people entering her environment, At home she is more cautious with people she doesn't know. She is a large bird watcher and takes great pride in keeping our yard squirrel, ground hog and deer free. She is fleet of foot, and very nimble. A joy to watch run.
