Surry is the ultimate farm Collie wether in town running errands or working the farm. She is sweet tempered, friendly, athletic and has excellent recall. She is a farm livestock guard dog who has focus drive and an excellent off switch when asked. She lives in the house and is very calm but enjoys watching the farm by day from her raised position on the deck. Working Description: Surry is a hawk dog and also assists with holding horses when feeding large round bales while the gates are open. She regularly spooks the geese of the hay pasture and always stops and returns instantly. She has a good herding drive as well but we do not have stock that needs herding at present. She has barked off a mountain lion with her brother Blue. Moves geese from hay fields and watches gates when I move horses.
