Working Description: Clay is a loose-eyed worker who herds our goats and ducks. His primary job is to move the ducks and goats in and out of their pens. He prefers driving but his Herding Instinct Test evaluator noted that he naturally fetches as well. He's kind but firm with stock, adjusts his intensity appropriately and responds readily to 'That'll do!' We're taking herding lessons to max his skills as an all around herder. Over the winter he discovered a new skill, vermin control, and has been very effective. He's a smart, calm, versatile farm dog.
