Ari lives in a suburb and is not a working dog, but he has the traits and temperament of a farm collie. He is protective of the property, barking at great length if walkers pass by or delivery vehicles stop. He knows if anything on the property has been moved or rearranged and is very concerned that we should investigate. He controls his prey drive at our cue, sparing rabbits and Canada geese at "Quit, Leave it." He will circle back to groups of children and would love to practice on livestock in the future.
