Kili is a very social dog that greets new people like friends he just hasn’t met yet. At home he will alert bark when people arrive. When we’re at the office he is silent and friendly with new people. He loves children and gravities towards people with mental disabilities. He truly shines the most around other animals though. Kili has a calm tolerance and nurturing attitude with puppies and small animals. Never wanting to be left out he actively seeks out interaction with others of all types.

Working Description: Kili’s primary role on our homestead is companion and watch dog. He watches and cares for baby animals when needed, and supervises the daily life of livestock. Since he has come to live with us he has kept our chickens safe from hawks and has helped the cats keep the farm clean of vermin. He has also shown a natural herding talent with pigs and has a strong sense of order. “Everything has a place and everything in it’s place” would be his life motto.
