Working Description: When Brave isn't alerting us to any and all trespassers on our homestead, he can be found herding and playing with our children in the yard. He has lived up to his name! We have always said if he needed to, he would take on a bear to protect his charges. He may not win that fight, but we know he'd do his best. He once jumped the fence to go after a bobcat that was in the chicken yard. He is gentle and attentive. Always knowing exactly how to place himself by your hand for a pat and ready to dart off in a second to discourage the hawk overhead from coming near.
