Our kennel is called Finnario Farm Collies, and we are a small breeder of the landrace breed know as Farm Collies, or Old Time Scotch Collies.
In August 2024 our Rosie (Finnario Rosalee McFall) had a successful litter of four puppies, two girls, five boys; sire is Colorado Hashknife, call name Hickory, owned by JJ James of nearby Saint Helens, OR. August 17, 2024.
This Finnario Substack litter was:

In 2022 we had a litter of seven (2022) we are expecting a litter from Peggy and Widdershins Zephy (OTSC) a dilute/atypical merle rough collie, grandsire to several OTSC litters, from Seattle WA area. **
Peggy's sire is the bi-black male, Lanz Hollow's Kesey (25.12.2018) and her dam is Carabella's Althea, a tri (08.06.2018); they had a litter of ten robust pups on 28.01.20, three males and seven females.
We have a small acreage and focus our breeding on biddability, temperament, and health, and hope to make an impact on the overall health of the Old Time Scotch Collies. In particular we believe in the importance of dogs as companions AND as farm or property managers, and expect our dogs to do well in many situations. Also, several of our dogs show outstanding service tendencies, in health area and I'm selecting for this attribute too.
** Puppy update, October 2022:
On November 2, Peggy had seven healthy and robust puppies. We are awaiting Embark testing on several we hope to go as breeding prospects; at least three may have the atypical merle coat. We have two sables, one tri, and three biblacks and one atypical blue merle like sire Widdershins Zephyr. A very healthy, active, and hearty litter of lovely old time Scotch Collie pups with super personalities.
