Notes:
Gentle old soul type of dog, good around kids, well mannered in of himself, and willing to do what you ask of him. Quietly watchful over livestock and family members. Stays on his property and patrols without fencing. Easy care coat that rarely requires brushing or bathing--he does shed with the change of seasons (spring/fall). Sire and Dam are AKC Rough Collies--we only know that their call names are Indigo and Sookie.

Working Description: Follows owner during sheep, pig, and cow chores, quietly and loose eyed. Does well with free roaming chickens and turkeys. Points out new lambs and if something is wrong or unusual. Hunts vermin, including pigeons, and keeps larger animals away from farm. Comes inside and is gentle with young children. Smart enough to open doorknobs. Quiet, watchful guard that responds well to being told that strangers are all right, but alert barks when something new comes into his territory. Eager and interested in what his family is doing.
