Beatrix is a sweet, submissive girl. She has a good off switch and happily will relax in the house or yard. However she loves to go hiking, riding etc! She only barks when there is something important to bark about. She loves visitors, children, and all kinds of babies. Very athletic and can turn on a dime.

Working Description: Beatrix is highly biddable. She is a quick learner and has enjoyed learning agility with my son. She enjoys hunting mice in the barn. She loves to swim! She has plenty of herding instinct however that has not been our focus in training her. Mostly she enjoys being a trail riding companion. She follows along with the horses for however long we are out be that 20 minutes or 3 hours. She can keep up at a gallop or happily follow at a walk. She has a good off lead recall if we meet cars, deer etc. I once recalled her safely off a rattlesnake she had discovered!
