Betsy is the best collie I have ever had! Incredibly intelligent, devoted, and easy to train. She trains herself! She is my constant shadow. She loves babies and children. She has the run of our farm but always stays with us. She will alert to strange people or animals but loves our visitors. She adapts well to city life as well and is a fun travel buddy! She has a perfect teflon coat that requires no maintenance and stays clean despite mud and burrs. She is a bit out of coat in these photos.

Working Description: Betsy is primarily a farm and trail dog. She is the best trail riding dog and stays right with you. She will go for 30 minutes or 3 hours. No terrain is too challenging. She has an amazing recall! You don't have to mind her she stays right with you no matter how fast or slow. She is also has a good off switch and is happy to nap and relax around the house. She loves to babysit the children. She chases off stray dogs and warns us if uninvited visitors come but loves welcomed guests. She enjoys hunting mice in the barn. She has plenty of herding talent however we have specifically taught her not to herd our horses. She used to help us move the goats to pasture however we sold the goats. She was a bit confused on the herding instinct video we did why we were asking her to herd and what the goal was (no visible place we were taking the livestock). She watches the poultry, and loves baby chicks. She also cared for our baby goats during kidding season.
