Working Description: He has intelligence, calm and thoughtful temperament, reciprocity, sagacity, enough caution to warn of intruders, keenness for hunting but very respectful of farm order, and a natural bent toward moving stock. I have not started herding training but he was moving cattle for his first owner. He is calm and workmanlike around my sheep and horses. At nearly one year old, he’s learned much about the farm. Ranger has now started to understand what it means to work with cattle!l too. Exciting! He’s a dream and a happy-go-lucky boy. We so enjoy him!
