Boaz (call name Beau) is a happy-go-lucky fella. He loves all people and dogs. He does alert bark when cars pull into our driveway, and barks until we let him know it's ok. Beau loves our kids and plays fetch. He protects our free ranging chickens from aerial and land predators like hawks, foxes, and coyotes. We have not lost one chicken because of his guardian skills! He also herds our chickens to the coop at night, and he ensures they stay away from our back porch and keeps them in the large 1 acre fenced in yard. Beau is also gentle with our barn cats but keeps strays away. He is registered with the English Shepherd Club, and has had the Embark DNA test done and is clear for all health issues. Working Description: Beau is our 24/7 Chicken livestock and property guardian. He patrols our perimeter and watches the skies. He also herds our chickens to the coop every night, and also herds them to ensure they stay in the yard, and away from our back porch. He's a loose eye herder and is very gentle.
