We are so happy with our puppy Gus from Aspen’s December 9, 2021 litter. He’s so friendly with people—settles down very quickly when people come over for dinner and quietly lies down or prowls about the dining room without begging or barking. Our neighbors have an extremely barky pit bull mix—we’d never put Gus in the same yard but they run along the fence line, Dolly barking her head off, Gus racing along quietly, just out of reach, having a blast. When he is curious or doesn’t understand something he sees or hears, he often sits down to stare in that direction. He sits and waits at open doors and gates until we give the ok to go through. He always was a lap dog as a 2-month-old and still loves to deposit as much of himself as will fit in a lap. His gait is lovely. What a sweet, beautiful dog.
