Ailsa is everything I wanted in a collie; smart, athletic, protective without being aggressive or reactive, loyal... She's great with my little girl and gravitated towards children. She gets along really well with my other dog, the cats, the chickens, the cows, and the horses who we board.
Sadly we're no longer living on a farm but working on starting a new one.
She's sound, stable, healthy, and has strong nerves.

She's in training to be a working farm dog. She has incredible instinct and is taking herding lessons. She also hunts vermin, and protects the farm against people and predator, though she accepts people once we tell her they're okay and is neutral to both unknown dogs and humans in public.
She has also shown incredible intuition towards service dog work. She's not public access trained, but will alert to changes in blood sugar and blood pressure, ground anxiety attacks, and interrupt self destruction or downward spirals.
We plan on adding our first livestock this year.
