Dixie is a family dog. We do not live on a farm so she has not had the opportunity to learn to work cows or other animals. But she is intelligent and friendly, and extremely loyal to all members of our family of five. Dixie is full of energy and loves to play but also has an "off" button and will hang out with us in the living room or dining room. My oldest daughter has a Rover business and so we keep a variety of dogs in our large back yard for periods of time. Dixie gets along very well with these temporary boarders and likes to show them around the back yard. She knows a variety of basic commands including "sit", "stay", "lay down", "time for bed", and "where's your ball?" (she loves to chase balls).
