Freya is a very sweet girl - the smaller the child, the more gentle she is. She loves to play outside but is happy to come in and sack out. Her coat is very low maintenance, and I have been amazed at how easily burrs can be removed that she picks up in her pursuits after chipmunks and bunnies. She has picked up commands and tricks well, loves snuggles, and is eager to please.
Narnia Litter name: Queen Susan
We are laying groundwork for Freya to help us work our sheep. She chases squirrels and wild rabbits outside, gets into the thick of it with the cat when a mouse is sighted inside, and alerts us to unusual movements of our poultry, but her main duties at this time are in the house with the family. She is very good at alerting us to children who are sneaking around out of their rooms after bedtime! She follows me from room to room, and has demonstrated protective behavior often positioning herself between us and the door, or posting herself in a location where she can oversee multiple rooms and entries. She alerts us to arrivals, and happily greets visitors that we have approved. She's more cautious with strangers away from our property, but warms up quickly and is happy to accept petting and snuggles.
