As a dog adopted from a shelter, Willow's parentage is unknown. We have tracked down enough info. to determine that she is from a ranch in a community outside of Rapid City, and we do know that she was born in July, 2017. The investigation continues! Her appearance and skills reflect much of the OTSC standard.

Updated 11/20: Now 13.5, Willow is retired from agility.
She competed in NADAC agility and earned five championship titles over the course of her career, as well as various other titles and awards. She was internationally ranked in the top 2-3 collies for years in our venue, and remains one of the highest-scoring collies in the history of NADAC. She was the first collie to earn the AA-Natch championship, and one of the first to successfully complete a "bonus" distance course (see video).
She has done some herding work, exhibiting a loose style and preferring to gather rather than drive. She showed an ability to intuit the intent of the exercise, successfully penning and moving stock given very little training.
She represented the OTSC at the Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa in September 2016, impressing hundreds of adults and kids alike with her beauty, good manners, and kind temperament.
Through genetic testing, we have discovered that as expected, she and High Sierra Sage are siblings, sharing 70% of their DNA.
