Working Description: Rhona is guardian of her farm and owner, and keeper of peace and order around the farm. She has worked poultry, meat rabbits, goats, and cattle. She is constantly independently keeping an eye on: 1)her owner 2)who is coming and going from the farm 3)the farm animals (making sure no critter is out of its place or misbehaving). She learns the rules of the farm, and enforces them -- independently catching escaped pastured meat rabbits unharmed, then calling her owner to come pick them up; catching chickens unharmed upon request; independently breaking up animal fights (cattle, goats, and roosters); always watching her owner's back when cattle/goats are being moved. She will use her bark, positioning, and lightly nipping cows/goats only when all else fails. She tries to herd cattle and chickens, but sometimes gets too excited and needs her owner to instruct her on where to position herself at times, though she seems to be getting better at herding with age. She is very biddable, eager to please her owner, and is pleased with herself when she does her jobs. She enjoys chasing squirrels away, but has never killed one (or any animal). She loves all people, and is very affectionate. She also loves cats and baby everythings. She is very intelligent, and learns new things quickly without direct instruction/training. She is a beautiful, handy, and caring best friend and escort to her owner at the farm.
