Ainsley is the "watcher" of our three Scotch Collies. She tends to observe prior to taking action. She is good with strangers and children after observing our interaction with them. She is swift however in herding our Alpine goats. Ainsleys' favorite activity is helping Larry tree squirrels. Her herding and hunting abilities are instinctive as she embarked on these activities with little instruction from us. Ainsley behaves well with our chickens, and house and barn cats.
Ainsley is a natural herder. She brings in our Alpine goats each evening. We have a stubborn wether and a dominant female who are often reluctant to cooperate but Ainsley stays after them and keeps the others within the paddock until all are safely put in for the night.
Ainsley has a strong ability for hunting squirrels -- naturally treeing and staying with the squirrel until Larry catches up with her.
